Hi Mike
Good to know that RL hasn't totally taken you away! Do you still dabble on MP? If so when do you manage to get on? - we retired people are a bit more flexible than the working population!

Pardon me for butting in but if I may ask: If you guys (overseas, not in the US) were going to get on MP, what time(s) would be your general preference for getting on and getting offline??
Problem for me is (due to very high ping to Galatica & Orion because of Verizon Mobile Wireless) my ping tend to be 230 to off the scale except from some occasional drops intot he mid 100's - where as on the RIM us server and Chiron (when it was up and working) I get 140 - 290 with some peaks in the 300+ to offscale on congested nights and sometimes down to the sub-100 range.
I don't know if you guys have similar problem on US servers or not but my guess is you may be a bit better off because you probable have highspeed internet like cable or DSL for the most part and thus lower latency on your ISP hops. I know some of the US guys on some highspeed internet providers get adequate latency on Orion and Galactica. It really depends where you live over hear - some places are quite congested while others aren't and some ISP's are better than others.
But what I'm getting at is what time do you guys tend to want to be getting offline whenever you are on? I'm guessing the latest it's probably around 3pm - 6pm CST USA which I guess would be something like 8pm - 11pm in the UK?
(don't us old americans just hate GMT and metric - LOL - like to old saying: you can't teach and old dog new tricks)

1: please have a quick look at the table I've just posted about relative times - I would appreciate your opinion
2: I can (or am) on most mornings (apart from Mondays) some afternoons - depending on Her Ladyship's plans with her horses
and various parts of the weekend; all part of the flexibility of being retired.

I left a comment to the other post in which I indicated fguring the timezones are so much the problem as know when you guys prefer to be on - I was never sure if it was "mornings my time" or "afternoons my time" and as older age and problems keep creeping on me I can't stay online all day like I used to to in the early 2000's just hanging out so mostly I've been hanging out (when Verizon Mobile lets me) around nighttime hours my time which is getting on 11pm UK time.
