Official lore? For newcomers to the series

Hi I was wondering if there was any official lore sources? I've read the community written ones on these forums but was wondering about official lor . Would really help newcomers to the series like me

Watch for any post by SeeJay ... then follow the link in his signature. He hosts a website with a lot of Evochron stuff, including back-story information.

The background history is an amalgamation of the backgrounds of the different games with a little smoothing to remove inconsistencies in the time line. They were created by members of the community. Vice (I'm happy to say) spends his time and energy on improving the games. However the History authors has got Vice's approval. There are a couple of versions that differ in the depth they cover. For technical stuff there the Mercenaries Technical Guide (from SeeJay's site)

i have read all the lore i can find now, one thing that hasn't been covered is the richton terriotory, who are the richtons?
