Hi guys. I hope someone can help me. Since the last patch yesterday I can't get the game to acknowledge my throttle. What I mean is that I'm stuck in full thrust no matter what I do. All the other buttons on the throttle work. The sliders in the settings menu move when I assign the throttle axis but once in game I can't stop moving forward at full speed and I can't turn engines off.
Saitek X55 HOTAS. Like I said, all was fine before the patch.

Check your key/button bindings. Odds are, something is triggering full 100% throttle all the time, overriding your axis mapping. Just clear the key or button that is doing that.

I checked my bindings and nothing was in red. I wiped them anyway and I removed afterburner from being bound to one of my throttle buttons. Not sure which did it but something worked. Back in business. Thanks for the reply Vice.

X55 throttle issue since latest patch
Glad you got it sorted, thanks for the follow up.
For reference red will only be for key/button conflicts, not for conflicts with axis channels, which use a separate system. So you could have had a button set to max throttle that was constantly being returned by the X55 or perhaps a key was stuck active. Either way, once the persistently active key/button signal is cleared out, the axis channel will be allowed to control the throttle.
