When selling a Fuel Converter can bring you 65 mill

So I found a Fuel Converter lying on the ground of a planet, I took it and then went to a station to sell it.

I tried this at different stations: when I hover the mouse on the Fuel Converter I see a decent price offered, but when I click to sell it I am offered a ridiculous price like 30-65 millions (depending on the station).

It doesn't seem to happen when I try to sell a Fuel Converter that I've previously bought in a station (I tried only with one station).

Was the fuel converter located inside a wrecked ship or was it half-buried in the ground by itself? If by itself, which planet? And where did you find it selling for a high price?

It was half-buried in the ground on T880 (Thuban).
As for the stations I tried at several player-built stations in Talison WZ but I think I also tried in a few game stations.

Sounds like an AI dropped it after he blew up. I've no idea why it brought such a high price at one particular station.

Maybe there is something special about this fuel converter. Did you try using it? There's a convenient nebula in Thuban.

Also, does it respawn?

That would be cool if there were some specials that would work at a greater range or or do a trickle charge in normal space or something different.
I always wish for 'New' things.

I didn't try using it and I don't have it any more (I think I mistakenly jettisoned it, something like that).
In another session I went on T880 again and the container wasn't there...
