As a few of you may or may not know, there is a starwraith youtube channel where Vice will post the occasional technical video or tutorial. I checked the forums and couldn't find much news on it but it looks like there will a new title in the series. So far it seems to go by Evochron Prototype. All aboard the hype train.

I will throw money through the internet to acquire any new game Vice makes the second he announces it.

Last I heard, at the moment he's unsure if there will be another version of Evochron, but it is pretty certain that the protoype work he's been doing can't be shoved into the current version. If we can make sure he knows it may be financially feasable...

I second that - I'll be more than happy to pre-order, "pledge", or just make a donation to support the cause.
I'd love to think it would be possible as a patch or add-on, but a whole new Evochron title?

You've gotta love those new engines, i'm personally hoping for some new engine trails/effects. I'll admit i've been spoiled by modern graphics but that would be awesome

Someone posted on the Steam forums that the new game is in development and being Alpha/beta tested as we speak. Anyone else see a posting about this? Maybe I missed it on here. Great news if it's true.

It's probably a new post. From what I hear, the game is in Alpha ... which means it could be quite awhile before it's released.

I'm hoping I'm just blind and you folks have posted this somewhere, as it would be a real tragedy if this video was posted on Space Sim Central first.

Even more so, that I am putting this up, I'm not even that big of a fan of Evochron. (Despite the fact that I keep buying them.

) Lets get the engines warmed up boys. Lasers have been cool too long.

Thanks for the other post as I didn't know there was another video uploaded. I wish Vice would release now as I can't get into ED or SC as Evochron is my preferred goto.
