Unfortunately there's nothing visible to estimate the size from! Anyone any idea how high and wide the screen is?

The whole screen, with its lit frame, reminds me of the viewscreen on the bridge of NCC-1701 (TOS). Get rid of the cockpit view and you're commanding the USS Enterprise ... or, I suppose, any other Constitution class starship of the UFP.

I'm most guilty of the capital ship thing, though I think a lot of us mean it in a way most don't think of. More swiss army knife type of thing. That said, if it were a thing, I'd love one of those to hook up to Evochron and tool around in a Corvette or Frigate class ship.

Feels unnessisary as it though, I'd rather build myself my own little home cockpit if anything. Maybe give us the option to streamline our interface to support that. Just leave small digital readouts surruptitiously around the screen, so we can 'experience' our immersion through our own cockpit, without losing the information we need to a lack of programming ability and the correct interface. (Switches, dials, boards and digital displays for example.)
