:o I'm glad you managed to get on, SeeJay. Which of the two G1 listings did you log on to?

The 2nd one on the list. Don't remember the IP of it tho.

I tried yesterday and today

Two on the list yesterday, but both blocked

One on the list today and I'm on! :D

EDIT: 60 contracts in 54 minutes! A new personal best and Atlas is back to 100% :P :P :P :P :P

We've built a station for [sc] in Atlas called Welcome Home - vrailink intends to build [HB] Home in their home system as a sign of the peace between our two clans :D

I've also taken some of our 'hidden' stations down so that indies can build in Galactica Atlas. If there's a demand I'll destroy a few more :P

 Btw, a week-long test on G1 has shown that territorial percentages still degrade ... but at a very low rate (about 1% per week). Testing now to see if clan-built trade stations can bring that rate down to absolute zero.

I can help. Yesterday we were at 100%. We have lots of stations (originally 20) but now closer to 40 because I was getting ready for a guerrilla campaign with [sc]. So with well over the previous 'mid 20's is enough' limit anyone who can log on can help to monitor rate of decline. I'll try to log on each day and won't contract for a while.

:P There has never been territorial decline while a member of the owning clan is on line. Ergo, the fewer members on line, the more effective the test. But I don't want to dissuade anyone from actually populating the G1 server (when they manage to log on) ... especially since this is also a race to explore and take over the Evoverse! (Parts of it, at least.)

I've been hopping on as and when I can (in RL) each day so just going on, checking and leaving isn't making any difference to my play. I assume that clan players being on doesn't increase %, so I think my checks over days won't impact Galactica usage over hours in a day. When I am on, it's usually only for a couple of hours at a time anyway (RL again ;)

so far in Jan

12 - 100%
15 - 100%
16 - 100%
21 - 100%
26 - 100%

I'm assuming that no [HB] pilots are doing chores! :P

:)

[Edited on 26-1-2015 by DaveK] seems reasonably conclusive! :D

what is also great is that Galactica seems more reliable . . . touch wood . . . I thank my lucky stars that we Capricorns aren't superstitious! Still, as Niels Bohr said about the 'lucky' horseshoe that he kept on his desk . . . . 'I've been told that you don't have to believe in it for it to work!'

 Currently, it appears that one clan-built station will stabilize territorial percentages on G1. Ergo, this might be a good time to expand your holdings.

Sigh! With the sad demise of CA-V, [HB] is transferring it's attentions elsewhere. I have decided to claim Atlas on Chiron Beta Prime since no clans appear to be active on the server. Stations to build - contracts to do :P

[HB] still maintain our claim on Galactica and I fly there where Galactica being 'up' and me being free coincide :P

Yo Cronic, thanks for providing us the best server with the most memorable pvp fights and space opera drama since B5 server. I will miss it very much.

I do find that visiting relatives does take up a relatively significant portion of time relative to the amount of free time I have :P
