Mercenary has no actual DRM. You only need to be on line once ... when entering your key codes. The codes simply unlock the full game.

Im happy to hear that, I hate games with DRM online required and such things, thats why Im going away from Elite Dangerous.

As far as I know, Starwraith games have never had that requirement. And most of the games with an SP component eventually drop it ... or expire.
