You want to jump to the trade station, so you right-click on your target and expect to zoom in on the sector where the station is located. Surprisingly, when you click (and, consequently, zoom in), the trade station doesn't show up. Ergo, you assume the Nav Map function is borked. But you'd be incorrect in your assumption ... easily proved if you now left-click on the "Rear View" button located on the right side of the map. 'Cause, when you do, you'll see something like this:

Hopefully, a light bulb goes on and you realize that the trade station is above your current location. Nonetheless, your jump point is still on the same level as your ship. You can confirm this fact by examining the "Destination Position" windows. See the "SY" window? It displays the current Y-sector destination coordinate and, in this example, it still shows a zero ... meaning your destination jump point is set to SY=0! But the trade station is at SY=1! So, before going back to the map's Top View, left-click on the trade station. While you're at it, check the "SY" window and observe that the destination Y coordinate has changed to reflect the proper sector coordinate of your intended target (the trade station).

Out of all Evochron pilots that have ever flown, I would only accept the Boss (Vice) himself as the ONLY one who can claim to have never made this nav map mistake.

Hello,
You forget things in this game, you then come back to this forum and ask "How do you/I do whatever?"
Some one will answer, some times a newbie and then you go "Oh yeah . . . I forgot."
It is because it is so big and so many different things to do.
You then feel silly and we make fun of you . . . . . . all in good taste.

Hello Adger1971, and welcome aboard!

Something for a sticky-note for you. All main trade stations, located on planets wherever you may find them, are denoted by the [+] sigil in green. The 'lesser' stations are marked just with the +, also in green. Well, that is unless the planet in question doesn't have any of the above, station-wise. Maybe in some future update or expansion, we can plant our own. That'd be so cool!
P.S. We do strive to keep it friendly here. Seems to work rather well, for the most part.
