Hi everyone,
Brand new to EM but really enjoying it so far. It's taking a bit to get my X55 hotas setup the way I want but it will come.
My only problem right now is the text screen. I have posted in another thread regarding this. I have the SilicuMAX CP/HUD/UI (EM v2.X) hud but I can't seem to edit the textchat.dat file.
I'm using free file viewer but can't edit.
Sorry I'm not a techie, so I need someone to walk me through it.

.txt, .dat and .sw files are all readable in NotePad as well. Some are interesting but some are encoded so look like gibberish!
