Had a weekend at High Chaparall. A Wild West park 2hrs drive
from us.

Took a train ride and was attacked by rubbers.
Saw a show with the Dalton Brothers and Lucky Luke.
Also a real Sheriff vs Bad Guys fight in a town with real
stunts. Falling down from rooftops up to 12m up.
Even a show with Indians dancing.
Playing a lot with guns. I died many times lol.

All in all a great weekend.

Tomorrow me and my mates will plan our Gents club trip
to Scotland in September. Sadly enough, I'm starting work
on Monday after a 4 week break. ;-(

HB still a bit active once in a week or is the clan more or less inactive?

Not because im super active myself, but could be fun to fly with some from time to time in a week.

Me and Incoming do fly a little when time allows it.

We do not do any clan stuff tho. No point since claimed systems
always are attacked when we are offline.
However, yesterday I saw that HB had Atlas, so I assume
that Incoming really wants our home claimed lol.

Not sure if I'll reliably (due to Verizon mobile) ever get online much - bit I will make this pledge: I will never attack any other user or property who doesn't attack me & mine first, unless it's prearranged & for fun.
I will help defend where I can (with the limits of my flying ability) - but I my not be so terrible since I've made Commander with a Firestar and Expert with my Mammoth.
Most of the time my only reliable latency & speed are after Midnight central standard time USA - with a few rare exception like Friday night (8/15) in the hours before midnight I actually was getting 1.5mb - 2.4mb download speed which is very rare for prime time hours in my timezone.

Maybe the main users should start a Pledge Thread spelling out the deisred goals and see how many take the pledge and how many don't.
Anyone deliberately violating the Pledge could perhaps be banned from the particular (or all) server(s) for X number of days on the 1st offense, and progress it on the 2nd offense, and finally ban them completely if the just refuse to play fair.

In other words, Server moderation. There are some chat site that take such measures. There were a couple of people banned from Active Worlds by AW Inc for theft of other modelers (making and selling models) products.
Some worlds had an X rating and more was tolerated therre (language and such) but AW owned Public worlds were moderated by "Peacekeepers" who could kick someone off for a certain amoud of time. Anything serious was referred to AW Inc management.

There must IMO be some rules to apply to everyone.
I'd really like to be able to get online - but not if someone is always going to be wiping out my Built stations.
I supposed it can be a bit difficult when certain people or clans want the same high priced systems, but if it comes to that being a real issue I don't see why Vice couldn't add some new hightech systems so more clans have a chance to achieve that goal.

Thanks for your support.

However, players have always and will always attack when defending clans is offline (Not only apply for HB).

Why? Since the game structure allows it. It's very hard for a server operator to monitor stuff that the game
actually allows. We have tried setting up rules before. It's always someone that brakes them.

Infiltration of Clans has also been done before. (Becoming a member with an alias just to bail out when the fighting starts).

So, until there is a way of defending your systems when offline, we will not participate in any clan Control activities.
It's just to boring delivering pizzas over and over again.

Flying around helping other pilots, joint contracts, PvP etc is still fun tho, whenever I can find anyone online LOL!

Must be the bee thing. IM has maintained our systems for a couple years now without any real trouble. And, last I looked, HB's Atlas was in good shape. (All this, of course, on Starbuck's G1 server).

It's only about 2 months ago since the last offline
attack on HB Marvin.

The reason there are fewer actions out there is the lack
of players playing I guess.

That's mostly the effect ... the cause being server down time, I think. (Luckily, G1 is usually up come IM's Sunday game time.)

HB is getting a new member tomorrow.

My family has decided that we are getting a dog, a black labrador.
His name is Odd Fellow (Named by the breeder). We loved it so we'll keep it.
He is 9 weeks old.
My kids are jumping all around in joy at the moment. They've been wanting a dog for years now.

I'll post some pics once we have him home.
