While playing the demo, only a few minutes into the 1st mission while near the Hope planet, the game crashed with a dialog similar to "Error Removing Object"
I was near the space station while orienting the ship to approach the planet city.

Demo Crash (gone in paid version?)
Haven't heard of that one before nor is there enough information provided to try and determine a cause. You could expect the same behavior between the demo and the full game. One of the best ways I could try and pin down what the cause might be would be to review an msinfo report on your system, steps available here: http://www.starwraith.com/evochronmercenary/faq.htm#8
In the meantime, make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for the game and you can try the troubleshooting steps in this thread which may relate to what you've encountered (namely memory/resource interference or limitations): http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6595
The fact your system has been unable to save individual changes to individual axis controls in the Options menu as you reported in your other post suggest you could be experiencing such interference intermittently, which could block the game from performing required operations on your system. So I'd also suggest checking any security programs you may have running in the background at the same time as you are trying to run the game. Not being able to save selected control configurations is a sign the game may not have access to the hard drive that it needs to have.
