Clouds not render on planets
Please follow the posting guidelines for this section of the forum. Details on your system specs would be helpful in trying to help determine what may be happening. Here are some general questions and suggestions:
- What display make and model are you using? What driver version are you using? Have you tried updating your display driver to the latest version available from the manufacturer of your device?
- Your system may be lean on available memory resources, resulting in losing the texture data needed for the clouds. Check any mods you have installed and if you have one or more installed, return to default media to continue testing. Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for the game.
- Make sure to use an 'Optimized' screen mode in the Options menu, not a 'Locked' mode, there shouldn't be a need to use a locked full screen mode except for rare circumstances.

Clouds not render on planets
Hey vice thank you for your reply
My graphics card is a 7870 2gb
current drivers version is catalst 14.4 , there are no updates for the drivers
Iv changed it back to Optimized Rez , made no difference at all.
Been trying to figure out when this started to happen The game was fine for a long time. I Even checked the files with steam to see if there was any damage at all, but they checked out ok.
System Ram is 8gb as well
only mod i have installed is the perch copit which i used for along time.

Indeed, this appears to be a new issue introduced with a recent driver change on their part as the 8X setting has always worked before, yours is the first report of it not and the first to report with driver 14.4. Just to also check one other thing, have you verified the same result with the Steam overlay off/disabled?Been trying to figure out when this started to happen The game was fine for a long time.
Please e-mail me a msinfo report on your system (steps here: http://www.starwraith.com/evochronmercenary/faq.htm#8 you can leave out the save game, just include the msinfo report in NFO file format zipped). I'll piece together the needed configuration details and can attempt to duplicate the issue on my end, then submit a full report to AMD if/as needed. You can also submit a report through their driver feedback form in the meantime as an additional step.
