Any game which allows you to re-load your last save works the same way. Otherwise, Skyrim would've been a really short game for me.

MMOs usually not (there maybe a few exceptions though like EM

).

oops sorry, "MOs". Didn't want to compare EM with 'massive' multiplayer games of course.
