Don't fly Navy contracts before your first cup of coffee!

Just swapped my good old Wraith with a brand new Evoch-C and thought I should do a little better now. Obviously not, got blown up 3-times in a row - until I finally realized why: I had just forgotten to activate to my programmed stick profile! Fortunately I do not use much assignments there but unfortunately I do have inertia for- and backward thruster programmed to my stick's slider and so - each time I swapped to inertia I actually swapped to sitting duck mode! So far about flying Navy contracts in the morning before finished my first coffee.

p.s. I actually survived this 4th attempt after quickly activating my stick profile - in the middle of the heat and with hull indicator at around 2 mm.

p.p.s in case you wonder why I don't use this profile as startup profile: the slider interferes with text input if not in zero range (which is 'somewhere' in the middle) and looks like ............,,,,,,,,,,,........................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that then.

p.p.s. you can also assign the slider to inertia back- and forth in the native setup but the zero range is way too small there for my taste.

I have my slider set up for back and forth inertia thrusters also and sometimes still forget to fly on inertia in combat. So my slider is set to inertia thrusters full backwards but I forget in the heat of the battle some times to switch back from IDS to Inertia and become a s*itting duck!......:P

Same problem here ... only not with sliders. It usually happens while erroneously thinking I'd opened chat ... then pressing the space bar.
