You have my word that honey will be available very soon :D

The only servers I intend (at this stage) to occupy Atlas in are CA-V (Cindy's project) and Galactica (I'm in the UK and so is the server so I get a good ping and fewer disconnects) :)

As our leader said - we have no intention of destroying any stations, tagged or untagged. In fact we will defend any and all stations in Atlas against attack from any and all interlopers. Nor do we intend to 'max out' Atlas to stop anyone else building there. A couple of dozen are all that we require to minimise the rate of control loss. The maximum allowed by Local System Planning Authorities is 50 per section of a system so even in small systems there is plenty of room.

At the moment most HB pilots are exploring a Galaxy Far Far Away, helping out down trodden Rebel Forces in their quest to oust a snake in the sand, evil tyrant Emperor. SeeJay hasn't furtled with your stations - nor have I. Perhaps there are people 'out there' who you've offended and who are seeking their revenge! Hard to imagine, I know :D

I was wondering - the last two nights I've checked it's said the invalid IP or Game full message.

I don't guess I'll ever get to really do MP anyway :( - Verizon Wireless is just too unpredictable. I got disconnects about 3 times in Ceti last night and finally gave up.

Great work Dave.

I've been deployed on a exploring mission lately.
Alphe C to Deneb is charted now.
Yesterday I started the journey from Deneb to Lost Rucker.
After that I'll check Lost Rucker to WolfZone. Nice empty open space there! :P

Has anyone built a hive in Atlas on the Olypmus server? I noticed a hex of HB stations near the planet so I've got our % up to 100%.

On the other servers we've got an out-of-the-way hive of about 20(ish) stations. If no-one else has already done so or wants to I'm happy to build one.

:)

Due to recent activities when HB was offline, we do not claim any systems on any server anymore.
We won't be doing that stuff again.

Feel free to remove any HB tagged stations if you (any pilot) spot them and reduce % whenever you like.
That's what's been going on anyway and it's just to boring and meaningless to try to counter that kind
of actions.

I built an out of the way hive of around 20 stations in Atlas on Galactica and CA-V. Please U2U me if you want the locations or help in clearing them out if you want to take over the systems.

I couldn't do it on Olympus because the system is maxed out by a previous short lived clan and I can't track their location.

If CAV has stations from a clan that's obviously abandoned (key words: 'obviously abandoned') their claim in an area you wish to revitalize, but can't find the stations, send Capt_Caveman a u2u. He might be able to help. ;)

We're talking about System Atlas on the three servers: Galactica, CA-V and now trying for the Olympus Prime server . . . or not in fact after what has happened :D

One player that attack when no defenders are
online, yes. How fun is that? We are out! Enjoy!

SeeJay is not simply 'one player' - he is the founder and leader of HB. But nope one player hasn't stopped HB clan, at least not in the sense you're thinking. One player has decided that he won't continue to claim Atlas - that player is me :)

The issue of sneak attacks when players aren't online to defend has been an problem for many players for a long time in the game. Personally I think that it is one of the reasons that the clan idea is underused in the game. It's simply too tedious to keep repairing the damage and with undefended attacks there's no fun in at least having a fight.

HB made a democratic decision more than a year ago that HB would become nomadic, claiming no systems but it has always been open to individual HB members to own a system in HB's tag if they want to. Formally HB doesn't help, though HB players do chip in with the contracting. I decided for romantic nostalgic reasons to take Atlas (our original home system) on any server where it wasn't already owned by another clan - hence Olympus Prime was left until now.

I did point out to you a month or so ago when you threatened chaos to HB systems that if you attacked when we were offline I would simply abandon that server and I tried to explain why. SeeJay said at that time that HB would vigorously defend claimed territory - but we can only do that if we are online

This time you removed all of our stations and 40% of our control for no other reason than you couldn't get onto another server and the other clan systems were too hard to reach, mainly being in ungated systems. So Seejay has decided that he - personally - will not continue to help me out in keeping systems going and simply restated the longstanding position that formally HB doesn't claim systems.

HB philosophy is to help others and explore and experiment in the Evoverse; some HB pilots enjoy combat but that's a personal choice. Lots of pilots have made it clear that they are open to unprovoked attacks whether sporting ]X[ tags or not. In the circumstances, I've given my recent project to have a few Atlas systems some thought and I have decided that it isn't actually worth the credits and playing time to see [HB] in the quadrant window. I've decided to spend my fairly limited flying time being helpful or exploring or experimenting or researching stuff for the Technical and the Hints&Tips Guides and for researching the short story series I'm working on.

I actually think that Viper was right and an 'evil' clan has potential to liven the game, but not when it's at the expense of other players fun. So rather than complain each time we're attacked when offline I have decided to remove the issue completely :D

Please feel free to attack me, though I may ask you to leave me in peace until I've finished if I'm half way through an experiment - I may even invite you to be my lab assistant :P

I hope this clarifies things :)
