Exact coordinates for Olympus gate?

Post by RyanBurnsRed »

Can anyone give me the X, Y, and Z coordinates for the gate to the Olympus system?

I jumped straight to the purple blip on the map and didn't find the gate at all.
I looked around and didn't see anything apart from Sapphire's moon.

I tried Googling, but no help.

Thanks :)

Exact coordinates for Olympus gate?

Post by Busch »

To my knowledge and experience, there are two known and one unknown gate into Olympus Prime system. One known gate is located to the west and south of the core stations and the asteroid patch/Harris Station. The other known gate is between Oly Primus station and Port Sigma station. I'll not 'broadcast in the clear', the location of the unknown gate.
Where did you jump from ? In Olympus Prime system or elsewhere ?

Right cliq of the mouse on the purple gate and jump.
Name of destination is wrote when you pass trough the mouth on the purple point.
Coordonate of olympus prime gate is 1.0.0 when you are at saphire. First square on the right of the main station.
Hope this 2 answer solved your problem. Have a good game.:)

If you mean the Sapphire Gate -> Olympus you shoujld be able to Right-Click the Gate in the Nav Map then Close the Nav Map and make sure your ship is facing either 0 or 180 Degrees and thatt your Pitch (vertical) is Zero and then Jump (not Auto Pilot - unless you are not within Jump range) and it whould take you right to it and through it.

however if you still want the coords they are:
SX=1 SY=0 SZ=0 X=7000 Y=7000 Z=15000

 Sometimes gates are really close to other objects. In situations like that, click on the "Text On" button:

Then click on the next button down until and after it says "Gates":

At which time all the gates will be highlighted. You can then zoom in on a specific area of the Nav map.

All this information and lots more can be found here: http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtop ... #pid150452

Wow a lot of replies. I actually found it by luck after joining an online server, saving the coordinates, and going back to my single player game.

I was jumping from the Evochron Station to the purple blip on the map, but when I got there I didn't see any signs of the gate at all. I tried at least 3 times until I went online and found it myself. Strangely it was right where it said it was when I went online and back to my single player game.

I saved it in the map log when I found it. Thanks for all the good replies everyone. I just very recently bought this game and I'm in love with it :D

you were probaly more than a sector above or below the ecliptic plane (Y axis)
when you clicked on the purple blip. this is a common mistake.
after you click on the blip, check rear view in nav map to verify Y axis is on target

Just right of the nav grid you have "rear view", always think to use it :-)

You guys are right. That's probably it. I was only clicking on it from one angle.
Funny thing is, I saw other ships above me floating around where the gate probably was. Hahaha
Anyway thanks a lot. You guys are really cool :D
