I'll be back soon! I thought I'd seen the back of several RL issues, but they reappeared - hopefully sorted by next weekend (if not before!)

Do we have a favourite server? I'm based in the UK and tend to use Galactica

maybe we could get vice to advertise a server event in some way to get some interest maybe advertise on steam or some such to inject some interest

logged in half an hour ago and accepted a random combat mission to remember how to fight. What the $#^@# happened to the combat system? I was losing my cursor all the time and it was hard for me to fly in inertia! Since when does the direction indicator ( the little square box in the center) goes of screen? With sadness I can say combat is getting worse and worse. Loved it since 1.8 version, hated it since the expansion and later...

Read about the changes. Some of them, like the box you mentioned, can be replaced by the original in Preferences.

In the Options menu for HUD options, there is a button for changing the FPM (flight path marker) back to the HVVM (Horizontal/Vertical Velocity Marker - original 1.x indicator) or to use BOTH (my preferred setting) at the same time. The individual markers are both modable so you can tell one from the other.

On a side note - the FPM (new marker) - while very useful when used with the original HVVM marker - is mainly a more direct focal point of the velocity 'steaks' you see projected onto the HUD while you are in motion.

hello people i regret to tell you all that i wont be playing very often until i get my pc upgraded and more importantly get my hands on a flightstick. but i will still be browsing the forums and commenting from time to time i will probably get back into the game around mid to late this year but i might get back on from time to time
