I've been reading some old threads where this was mentioned. Just wanted to raise awareness again, on the off chance Vice would be willing to implement it in the future ... Of course I'm talking about headlights for Terrain Walkers (and potentially for ships also, when flying low).
While I enjoy swooping over planetary surfaces and doing planet-based missions in my walker, I can't see 3 feet in front of me on the dark side of the planets. Some headlamps could really help with this, and give a cool "creepy" feeling to retrieving containers/mining on the dark side of planets.
I notice when the Walker fires it's cannons there is a flash of light, so I'm assuming (?) that it wouldn't be too hard to project a cone of light around the Walker at the very least. That is, if it's too tricky to code a proper forward-facing beam of light. I'm thinking just a simple toggle on/off switch, no batteries or anything like that.
Anyway just something that I feel would increase the awesomeness factor of the game - thanks for reading
