hi everybody!
more i play and more i love EM!
but i think something goes wrong on my installation..i've these mods installed:
silicuMAX
afterburners and gun sounds
hight detail capital ship
asteroids
sx3 red
civilian hightres
enviroments rf autumn
everytime i get close to any ship or ground station my ship bounce and is rejected far away in a strange way (many little bouncing)..its normal or i've some problems??
it's ok every ship has a shield, but usually i can fly near another ship (i saw a utube video in which this happened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X7u6poxRwY at min11:38).
thanks in advance

Hi Fulghore and welcome!
I did watch the video you posted above. As near as I can tell from your description and from the video, what you're experiencing is/are shield buffetings/impacts, which are common enough when proximate/really close to other ships. Your shield, combined with the Inertial Dampening System (IDS) will attempt to prevent collisions with other ships with shields, not necessarily other objects in space (like planets and/or asteroids). It is common enough to appear to be 'pushed away' from another, due to the strength of the combined shields, and is not an error or game glitch or undocumented feature.
Hope this helps.

but why i can't do the same thing author of video made? i can't approach at that distance from any ships and fly around them..in the video experience is fluid..he fly around without any problems..i can't do that..pheraps i can try to fly in inertial mode?
thanks again

Fulghore, I'm not so sure that inertial mode would make much of a difference. Try it with/against other friendly ships, instead of asteroids or planets. But be easy with it. Unplanned, unexpected detonations can be a bit frustrating.

it was a mod issue..i don't know what mod precisely, but deleting all files in ship folder (so high res or ship mods i think), solved the problem.
thank u for your answer:-)

Great! Glad to know it was something easily fixed.

Perhaps you were using some of the pre-expansion version mods. Some of them still work, but the scale size of the textures/objects is way to small for the current version. Hence, collision boxes are much larger than the object you see. From post: 166200, Topic: tid=11134, author=Fulghore wrote:
