Captains Log 1.0 So my first big haul (4.4 mil) I launch through hostile space toward a rumored unknown planet, I hear the chatter of another live pilot. So I pick up deep space communications and 60 sectors out I jettison my entire cargo. (Hell of a learning experience). With my on-board equipment I sell off to minimal required equipment, my fulcrum drive. After a trip or two I finally recoup my losses. I load up again having just enough cash to buy a Shield Re-charger, I decide to equip it in hostile space... with no shield generator. I undock to find that the Recharger attempt's to charge shields indefinitely will forever empty your weapon energy. Here I am making a 9 sector slow burn on inertial to friendly space in hopes i can remove it..."

Hi Ugly
A steep learning curve but you've obviously got the grit and determination. You've learned the hard way that some combinations of equipment work for you but some work against you!!
