Is there a way to speed up velocity visuals on planets?

Hey guys, not sure what happened to my other post. Must have not posted it.

I notice when I go to planet surface, and going like 1300 velocity, I have this feeling of going EXTREMELY slow, even when right on the surface.

Anyone else?

Play the old version (1.x). The planets are much smaller and, therefore, you feel like you're going a lot faster. As Maars would say, it's all relative.

Hi and welcome.

You can descend much faster if you want. However, you need to watch so you don't burn up.
Think about how the space shuttle re-enter Earths atmosphere and try that in game!;)

I think that extrec asked not about more velocity, but about visual markers of the speed.

If so, it sounds like another "space dust" question.
