I hope ya'll enjoy it - even though it does have some painfully sad, serious moments. I'd like feedback! With that said... Enjoy!!!
Niemand couldn't believe his ears when the messenger from the radar security told him that Cindy's space craft was in the air again. As he waited at the launch pad, he thought about what to say, what to do. She would be 16 now. A young lady. A princess that gave up her royal status to help refugees.
Cindy stepped off the spaceship and ran to Niemand. "Niemand! It's so great to see you again! I've missed you so much!"
"I've missed you too! It's been a long time my friend." Niemand replied as he hugged her. "What's been happening for you?"
"I ran away from Earth." Cindy said bluntly as she turned away.
"What? Why?" Niemand asked, very concerned about this change in events. According to the laws of the galaxy, she was an adult now, but on Earth, she still had 2 years until she was an adult and another 3 years after that until she could drink alcohol. Cindy had been so excited the last time he saw her - she had been getting ready to start High School.
"I don't want to talk about it." was all Cindy said as she walked to her rooms.
Niemand thought about his little Princess. She looked more pale and she was obviously upset about something, but what could be wrong enough for her to run away from the planet where she spent her first 12 years of life? He couldn't figure it out and there was work to be done, so he went about his duties. She would open up as soon as she was ready to.

Cindy looked around her small room. It was sparsely furnished just like she had left it. 'What am I even doing here? Why did I think here would make more sense?' The questions swirled around in her mind. 'And how do I tell Niemand that... well... about what happened to me?' She burst into tears as she sank down onto her bed and cried herself to sleep.

Cindy woke up the next morning and went to the mess hall for a bite to eat. Niemand would probably be waiting for her. A guy bumped into her and snarled "Watch where you're going."
"I'm sorry?" Cindy half apologized, half asked.
The guy looked up and the most handsome pair of blue eyes stared and widened. "I'm so sorry! You're Princess Cindy, aren't you?"
Cindy tried hard to keep her amusement in check at the wide-eyed expression of the man, no, young adult in front of her. "Yes, I am, but please call me Cindy."
"Cindy, I'm so sorry!" The guy apologized again.
"No problem." Cindy smiled. "What's your name?"
"My name is Menad."
"It's good to meet you Menad." Cindy reached out to shake his hand, but then remembered that she was on another planet. "I'll see you around, ok?"
"Oh no you won't." Niemand's sharp voice rang out. "Menad, I don't want to see you around Cindy ever again without people around. Is that understood?"
"Yes sir." Menad replied and quickly vanished around a corner.
"What was that about Niemand?" Cindy asked.
"We'll talk about it at breakfast." Niemand replied with a smile. "Shall we go eat?"
"Alright." Cindy smiled back.
