Hello, before I buy this game I'd like to know a little bit about the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Is there a chat system in-game?
Is the game server based (I heard it was, just making sure) and how many players are on a server? (I heard it was 32, I'm not sure)
If the limit IS 32, how often do you interact with other players?
That's about it for now

You can download the game to play in Demo mode. When you then install, you'll find a ReadMe file where most of your MP questions are addressed. As for the number of players on line, it depends on the time of day and where, on planet Earth, you're located.

Yes there is a in game chat via "press enter, type chat, press enter to send". Also there is voice chat if you are in the same local area and the voice chat is enabled on the server.

The game is both SP and MP based.
You can (in MP) go to the location of other on line players or you can avoid them and never interact if that's what you want. Each server can set the player limit.
