im as fresh as fresh can get around here. But I am a space loving player. I got over 6 years in eve online, own most of the X series games. For EM id love to see more ships, ones with bigger cargo hold for those of us that just love to mine and build. I would love to see more craftable items ingame in eve online you could make thousands n thousands of different items, in EM I could see this as a positive. id like to see the ability to build jump gates, More custumizations (specially stations). Now I love this game, but I gotta ask, why did stations get the shaft on the detail :-(. When I played second life my pal Bash made stations and these was very detailed, u can roam then, park ur ship on them etc. For another add to EM, ability to build on planets, drive etc, I understand you all probally got a small team, but you got the universe in ur pocket here.

Just need more to build, when I say this I mean building ships from scratch, part by part, making more weapons, Making different types of stations. having planets u can build settlements on and they can be attacked and in some systems youll have to defend them etc. This dream may happen with starforge, but I see it more possible with Evochron. I love this game, got least 7 hours into it and learning more n more. Only real gripe I got is the lack of detail on stations and not really that many things to build. For Examples Eve online is the best o see in this dept. for Caps, again eve would be best to view. But the direction eve has taken in recent years led me to hate that game now. So hear I am enjoying this game But this is just my ideas id like to see EM have I know not all can , but least more love to stations and more to build would be nice :-)

Welcome!

I think that you might find that the Evoverse itself is interesting enough (several hundred "uncharted" planets, a couple of alien species etc etc) without having to play at architect :D

You can do a fair bit of ship and weapon customisation in game just by docking at a station, and that's without moving into modding, though. Ships, HUD's, starscapes/nebulae etc ad nauseam are possible with the customisation options

Practice, practice, practice until you do it (get lucky) right!. Even then you may not be able to repeat it all the time.:)

yea my bad its a blackhole I am trying to enter, so if any1 has a vid of how to do it id be very greatful!

I checked, tis missing the link to Evochron Mercenary (Blackhole Jumping (How to do it) ) . so far I gathered 1. my c3 shields aren't good enough. 2. I need least c5+ shields. and I need to plot it so im in the middle of the blackhole and will have to have shields for least 10 seconds. Ingame I have managed to get literally with in millimeters of the gate fiddling around. SO guess its time to go make some cash beef this ship up and save this location for a later tinkering! XD

If you do it right, you should be able to do it with any ship,, no matter what configuration.
This has been tested and confirmed by the SplosivesCorp R&D division.

SplosivesCorp also recently discovered that using the number "2500" is not as good as using "3000".
While when using 2500, the damage you get depends partially on your ship's speed, so you might not make it through with a slow ship.
When using 3000, you'll always make it through with almost the same hull damage (24-25% left).
This is because when you use 2500, you'll end up right in front of the wormhole, so your ship will still have to fly in. When using 3000, you'll end up inside the wormhole.

ty kind folks! I do have a c3 repair system on the ship, so with this new info I shall once again try!. Considering I am lost n cant find the starter systems, so I want to go through this haha XD

well still cant figure it out, but found my way back home, now im upgrading the ship and having a ball. Just wondering if I pay the crew higher wages if there loyalty will rise.

Are you sure there is a WH in the center of the BH?

Not all BH's have a WH in them!

There is a BH in Sapphire that you can practice on;)

oh theres a WH in it hehe. But I ran across wat I thinks a bug or crappy crew. on the map showed a planet, gate, station, I jump to the area, Nothing, so I jump directly in the middle of the planet, guess wat, No planet..lol

You can pay your crew, that's all fine and well. But, you must "work" them as well. The Engineer is easy enough. They take care of your ship and ships' systems. Be successful with your contract/mission completions - they'll hang out. Make certain of possessing a repair system (of any ilk). Seen 'em jump ship without one. The Navigator bears very close monitoring. The Weapons Ops just like to kill....a lot! And the Science guy is a bit of a nerd, but packages those fungibles like lightening! Also handy to have around if you have an exploration bent. Sorta like a general systems tour guide - Oh Look! Asteroids and planets and nebulae and containers! Oh my!

those catainers must be epics out there, figured out heading, pitch.went where it said @ 2000 speed, for 20 minutes and nuffin.

It's easy to miss them so you might jot down the heading then jump to in and out of the area to a different location to get another heading so you can triangulate the possible location.

Now that the planets are bigger, it's a good idea to take a Deploy Constructor with you. Its sensor array will paint cargo pods as purple dots on your radar. If the dot is on the surface of a planet, then it might be buried too deep for your tractor beam to reach.
