Checking back in

Hi fellow space rats!

After a couple of challenging months I can happily report that my situation has improved quite a bit. Long story short: the business I set up some time ago (a small contracting company and a graphic design company) has been rather unsuccessful and after a time that seemed forever without any income what so ever, I had no other option than to close them down. Had quite a rough time since then, but against all my expectations I had the incredible luck of finding a job again. That job turned out to be 1000 times more fun and challenging than I could ever imagine and I can't complain about my paychecks either.

As for the game, I'll be back playing now and then in whatever form I fancy at that time. Unfortunately I won't have the same amount of time available as I had before, so I won't be partaking in much more than basic gameplay. Oh I'll be flying the [X] proudly as always, but I probably won't have time for things like coordinating the Phoenix Initiative, making regular SNN posts, designing huds, doing sig requests, etc.
Oh and DaveK will be taking over maintenance of the resources thread - indefinitely this time. More news about that will follow.

A special message to my brethern in the Rebel Faction:
After checking in since a long time, I was curious as to what had become of the Rebels. But to my utmost delight, I saw that the clan is doing really well!
I have read through the last couple of pages of the thread with a big fat grin on my face. It's awesome to see you guys still kicking!
I'd like to express my gratitude to any Rebel who has worked to keep the tag alive. It proves that the Rebel Faction functions the way I intended it to: without any clear leadership, but like a properly chaotic bunch of wackos. I'm loving it. Thank you all!

It's good to be back, I missed this game and this community a lot and I'm looking forward to flying with you again. I'll see you all in space.

Love your HUD. I have incorporated it into a mod to iron out the few 3D issues the game has. It does look fab in 3D BTW.
