New Official Training Videos...

With the expansion came a lot of new options and changes. As a result, I plan to work on revised training videos that cover both existing and new options. The original videos are now pretty dated for the game with footage from 2010, so updated videos with current graphics is also a goal.

The new round of training videos are in pre-production and will cover the following topics (subject to change as work continues on scripts and recordings):

Training Video 1: Ship Control and Physics
Training Video 2: Navigation and System Travel
Training Video 3: Inventory Management and Trading
Training Video 4: Contracts and Missions
Training Video 5: Shipyard
Training Video 6: Deploying and Building
Training Video 7: Mining and Terrain Walkers
Training Video 8: Spacecraft Combat Systems and Space Combat Maneuvering (SCM)

Much of the narration content of these videos will come from the (revised) instructions included with the game.

What I'd like to know is if there are any other specific details you would like to see included in these videos, specifically for one or more of these topics. A paragraph or two in relevant format would be helpful. For example, on the subject of targeting, you might post something like:

- Your ship's targeting system can lock on to a ship in a variety of ways. To select the nearest ship, press the default R key. To select the next ship, press the default T key. To select the nearest hostile ship, press the default Alt-R key combination. To select the next hostile ship, press the default Alt-T key combination. You can also target a ship in your gunsight with the default Y key.
