The plane has what's called trimming and cruising:
The controls allows level flight without having to fight the controls, and you're able to take your hands off the controls for a level flight.
Elevator Positive – you want the nose of the aircraft to stay up.
Elevator Negative – you want the nose of the aircraft to drop down.
Left Aileron – you want the left wing to level out.
Right Aileron – you want the right wing to level out.
Left Rudder – you want the aircraft to stop left ‘yaw’.
Right Rudder – you want the aircraft to stop right ‘yaw’.

Thanks Marv. This game has a sense of humor, every time, I miss my landing, like landing in a field, the game sends me back to the classroom. My wife will walk by, and say, "Oh, you're back in the classrom?" This game has a detailed flight school manual. I think, I'm going to have to spend more time with it, and practice, practice, practice.
Aside from flying EM I spend a good bit of my flight time in the cockpit of DCS A-10C and still take Jane's F/A-18 (with all the TSH bits added on) out for a spin now and again.
I've flown a lot of Longbow and Longbow 2 missions back when as well. The most current helo thing I run is a modded version of Commanche vs Hokum, which is really pretty darn good.
I do like me some DCS A-10C though. Bustin' tanks and dodgin' sams. Good stuff.
I still have retail box copies of Jane's Longbow, Longbow 2, F-15, F/A-18 with manuals and everything for me nic-nac collection.
I really miss Jane's USAF. One off the best military flight/combat simulator's I've ever played. I'd love to get it to work on Win 7, and I'd kill for this game to be remade with current graphics... (drool).
Awesome game indeed!
Falcon BMS patch for Falcon4 is still going strong and getting better and better.
BMS v4.32 was a big improvement from BMS 2.0, update 4 was the latest.
I fly in Wings of Prey (WWII) and would be up for teaming up if anyone would like. A co-op option is added to it with the Wings of Lufftewafe DLC (sorry on spelling)
WOP has a great scalability from Arcade (radar/hitboxes/OSDhud/multiple views) all the way to Simulator (engine management/cockpit only view.. the works)
Top it off with top notch visuals and its worth checking out, just still not as much fun now that i found EM.
I found an interesting few , DCS ( digital combat simulator , its a series in a way ) . It has a fully interactable cockpit , every single knob and dial . The gameplay looks rather rich . I believe you can fly , an A-10 , F 15 and a few others .
I used to play mil jet sims... Falcon 3, Falcon 4, Flaker, F22, etc etc.
But eversince I packed my HOTAS setup into boxes, I've stopped playing them. Nowadays I just play games that require little more than a keyboard and a mouse
Had a TrackIR too. Stopped using that when I started to get a sore neck from keeping my head stoicly straight to avoid switching the screen to padlock view
