hidden weapons labs?

I am not quite clear about this.

Are there more advanced secret or hidden weapons labs in EM2.0 Somewhere?

It may be that it is another of the reasons to explore. We never know whats out there until we find it. Not saying yes not saying no as I don't know.

Ya. Don't know 'bout hidden weapons labs. Thought they usually came attached to a station or suchlike. Lots of other hidden stuff like crates/containers/shipwrecks/stations/critters and what-have-you's. Still a lot of it left to be discovered... Heard tell of some kinda warp engine cum-star drive that used some sorta fancy, new-fangled propullsion system. Heard tell it was about a one-shot deal though. Rumor was the fuel for such was exceedingly rare... Sorta like trying to land on the old sod. Only the few.....Only the one....
