Community Project - We need YOU!

Remember what made "Wing Commander" great? The cinematics telling the story and allowing you to get acquainted with your fellow crewmembers.

When "Arvoch Conflict" was launched, I came up with the idea to rig it with filmed cutscenes...this project was eventually mothballed due to the lack of failure/success-based mission branching. As "Arvoch Alliance" allows to do so, I would like to revive the project.

I have already talked to the owner of a filmstudio able to shoot the scenes in green-screen-technique. A first draft for the uniforms is currently in the works.

I hope there is a handful of community members, who would love to participate...if you are interested, post a short draft (not more than three to five sentences) for a Vonari-only campaign. If you want to enter at a later timepoint (mission-design/editing...) just keep your eyes on this thread.

I hope there is still as much interest as there was six years ago and im am looking forward to reading your replies...

What a pity that the interest in this project is that low. I decided to come up with a story by myself. Please tell me, what you think...

Arvoch Existence
A race constructed by the Vonari for medical/biological warfare-research has been underestimated by their creators. Unbeknownst to the wolves they have gained the ability to construct spacefighters in covert facilities. Willing and able to break the yoke of their slavemasters they face a serious problem: If they launch their fighters the Vonari would have all the time they need to obliterate the planet. They call for Alliances help. Can you buy them the necessary time to launch their spacecraft and gain a new powerful member for the Alliance?

Is a good story but i remember a lot stories (books, movies, etc) similars but i only read one paragraph.

It is more like a mission-add-on. A completely new campaign with success/failure based mission branching and cut scenes with real actors in CGI-settings.

It's not that I'm not interested - it's that I live in the UK and it's a long way to commute

I'm hoping that Vice will add the branching quest facility to Mercenary when he gets some spare time (is that distant ghostly laughter Vice??) - it would make for awesome quests!

Also, most of us fly Evochron Mercenary and some of us are involved in creating stuff for this game.

Here is a first impression of the wip-uniform-shirt. The Alliance-emblem will be added as an iron-on image on the right arm. What do you think? Any suggestions/changes?

I finished the uniform-shirt, now it shows the Alliance-emblem on the sleeve.
