Post by DORN »

I was just trying to sort out the current nav aid addons and could use a little help.

1. Is the in game map log as functional as Atolski's, and what is the latest version of Atolski's and does it work in EM 2.0?

2. Is Evometrics 1.5 the latest version and is it working in EM 2.0?

3. Are there any others for EM 2.0?

Thank you

1. Atollski's program performs tasks you won't find on the game's navigation console. But it relies on a savedata file which was changed in the Expansion ... the sequence of data items having been modified. In most cases, the old items are still in their original location in the list ... but some are not. Ergo, it all depends on which items were used by Atollski.

Hi Marvin,

Do you know any one out there who is now using Atolski's?

And what functionality is still left in it. Is it worth using now?

If it only accesses those parts of the savedata file which are listed in the same order as before, then it will work. If so, it's still useful ... even now that you can get coordinates from AI pilots (the coordinates usually lead you to one uncharted planet ... but other unchared planets could be near by). It also has other functions which I never needed ... having committed most jumpgate locations to memory.

 The latest version(s) can be found at SeeJay's old website ... not sure about the new one. Try looking for the appropriate download here:
