Will we get new skins for the player ships too?

Anyone else noticed that everything in the game has been redisigned even, the stations, the capital ships, the Vonari ships, the cockpits and even the planets.

Everything got toughed up except for the player controlled ship external look.

I am not suggesting that they need a total overhaul like the rest but a new skin so it matches the rest of the game would be nice.

Now we got everything in 2.xxx sauce with 1.xxx ships.

Actually the textures did get an update. Ever noticed the blue lights on some parts of your ship? that's one of the new features.

I didn't see any blue lights, unless you mean the lateral trusters that light up as you move your ship, those where there when I got this game 2 years ago.

There should be blue lights on your ship textures. Take a closer look in the shipyard.

Yes, I see them now, still falls a bit short on the smooth detailed skins on the rest of the games ships though.

AI ships have the same textures.

No they don't, they used to have the same textures. Like the capital ships and the vonari ships. They have a much smoother texture now then before.

I am not talking about the other AI ships since they are the same ships as we fly............
