Buying a station license is LOWERING my sell cost.

I was origionally under the impression that if one were to purchase a station license, you could sell items at a higher price, and buy them at a 20% discount, as well as the station defending you.

I usually conduct my trade in Atlas, so i mine a bunch of metal, convert it to repair systems, then sell them for about 400k a piece. When i bought the Atlas license, the price for them lowered to 300k then i canceled my license and it rose back up to 400k.

Whats up with that?

sell where you don't have one.

You can also instead of buying a licence build your own stations, they come with a licence so buy there and sell somewhere else for profit.

Never purchase a license where you plan to sell. Only purchase them where you plan to buy.

You can set your own little trade empire up in an uncharted system. Build two stations near different planets - build a few energy, research stations etc near one and sell the licence - buy at the other and shuttle between the two buying and selling!lonely though - you'll probably be told you need to get out more!For a bonus, create your own clan and do contracts in your system - you get the clan bonus as well as boosting your rankinga one person clan is even more lonely though - you'll definitely be told you need to get out more!
