Hi all,
I have been in Pearl all day (snow stopped work) looking for the Mantis Drive. I have docked at all the bases, including hidden planet, both in sp and mp - spent about 3 mill on docking fees - nowhere can I find the Mantis.
What am I doing wrong ?
Secondly, I did a rescue mission on a pilot in Aurach (sp?).
I got to the pilot with about 20 seconds to spare. I tried opening trade, but it said I was too far away even though my ship was bumping his, I also tried beaming. Time ran out and he flew away. Again, what was I doing wrong ?

Pearl and Rescue Mission.
For the rescue, make certain you have the correct ship targeted. For the Mantis, if it's not available the first time you dock, wait for a message telling you the inventory has been updated ... also, don't be looking for one at the station. Dock at the city (watch your speed on the way down).-

Get a stealth drive while you're there! Pearl hidden is the only default place to buy them.
