New observation about the cities that I came upon and can't remember if I am correct on or not. But I do remember having to land on a platform on planet. Landing was straight forward, follow green to landing pad Beam then sucked you down. Now same thing but the beam sucks you in.. The cities were built on the planet surface/ground ? Right... Now it seems that all of the cities are built on their edge or 90' off the planet surface.

And Leatherpokers Mods, do they still work? lol So much to do.

:cool: In the Expansion, cities can be located anywhere on the surface and not just at certain latitudes (like it was before the Expansion). Vice says the "cities" mod can be adjusted ... but only if you have a program for flipping axiis. As for landing at a city, it hasn't changed. You still get tractored in, same as at a trade station. You can disengage auto-tractoring by pressing Alt F3 (a chat message will confirm the disengagement).

Thanks Marvin just seems that the cities were flat. And flying to them now, looking at them is like looking at a puzzle ,,, is cool..

Edit:: I updated the game to v2.188 it put an Icon to this new v2.188 on my deaktop. Starting the game with this Icon on my DT the cities are fine flat just the way I remember them :cool:

I also start the game with Steam, and the cities are on the 90. axis.. :mad:

Looking in my game folder I have found another EM folder inside the main EM folder where the exe. v2.188 on DT is pointing to...

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\evochron mercenary\\EvochronMercenary. EvochronMercenary is the new folder..:o

Problem now is that the hud, and 2x mods will not work. I did Reactivated the Mods in JSGME. The Hud Mod works in Steam, but not in the exp game. SO thinking I would be smart I copied the files from the new EM folder and put them in the MAIN EM folder. now both icon and steam exe start the game BUT the cities are on 90' ... :mad:

Re-installed the expansion v2.188 Icon on DT now points to the new folder again and the cities are flat. But no Hud Mod lol.. :mad::mad:

BTY both games are showing v2.188.

After doing everything I can think of to fix this city axis thing, I am going to keep the mod game. Enjoy the eye candy too much. So if there is a way to set the city back on the ground, I will do it thanks

:cool: According to Vice, the modded cities need to be reoriented using a 3D program. As for which version is which, if it has terrain walkers, it's the Expansion.

The City mod I am talking about is a bit old, Leatherpoker was the Modders name, if that helps
