When I read, that EM 2 will feature a planetary rotation system, I was quite excited about it. But when I tried to have a look at it, the rotation took a little bit longer than I expected.
In order to still see this system in action, I decided to record about 24 hours of video material on one of the Planets and make a time-lapse out of it.
Earth's Moon does not rotate around its axis, it circles earth in an orbit with always the side of the Man Face in the Moon facing Earth!.....:P
I do not know in EM expensian though if Earth's Moon is rotating, that would be so wrong!.....:P:P:P:P:P

Uhhhmmm... if the moon is facing the earth always with the same side, then it actually has to rotate
One 360° rotation just takes exactly one day if I'm not mistaken.
Just a little warning! Because it was shot in Sapphire at Evochron station, you can expect heavy traffic and a lot of ships jumping in and out, so it flashes some times quite a bit. But this also gives you a a chance to see the traffic within a day and the new feature that battleships can really turn themselves around now

Yes, your right, but looking at it from Earth it does not seem to rotate while in reality it does!.....:P

Very cool!, You can see the clouds rotating at a different speed than the planet itself. Realy cool to see both rotating from orbit!
Thanks for sharing and taking the time to do this!....
