Missiles not locking

Came across a strange bug where even though I had 6 missiles loaded on hardpoints they would not lock onto anything. I hadn't been doing anything abnormal (i.e. the terrain walker mining laser bug) and when I died and had to reload everything worked fine. All of this occured in SP. Anyone else experience this issue?

That was my first thought but the ships cannons were tracking just fine. Actually managed to finish the cap escort I was working on.

There are several conditions that must be met in order for a missile lock to activate:

- Target must be in the COV.
- Target must be in range of the selected missile in hardpoint #1.
- Missile in hardpoint #1 must be a lock designated missile and be ready to fire.
- The environment you are in must allow for heat signature locks.

If any one of these conditions aren't met, a lock won't activate. You can also cycle your secondary weapons any time to swap to one with a lock condition or to test things if one seems to not be engaging a lock properly.

That's what was wierd about it, wasn't in any nebula, within 1000 decameters and loaded with exodi (think that's the proper plural for exodus).

If you can catch it again, maybe take a screenshot of the nav console and of the target in the COV in HUD mode 2 and send them to me via e-mail. From there I may be able to pin down a cause and fix it if/as needed.
