well I feel utter revolted, if you read the whole thing, this new shiny mice from Razer requires always on connection to work, and needs to be activated online to work, otherwise its a basic plug and play mouse

I had issues with one razer product in the past, but this is taking the mick, I can't understand why they have gone this far, unless its it just for data mining?

well friends, if you are thinking of getting a razer mouse, avoid this one like the plague

I believe it was done for storing your mouse settings on a cloud system, but they obviously didn't think about the consequences.
I'm using a Razer Deathadder, and I still think it's the best mouse I've ever used.
