T-Bird, I'm using the Logitech Performance MX wrls gaming mouse (w/ the "Dark FIeld" sensors). Fits my hand so much better than the standard offerings. Narry a burbble or a squeak! Recharges seem to occur more often however, depending primarily upon the "intensity" of useage. (game environement, lack of/or intensity of mouse use & etc.). Works really well, regardless of which game iteration I'm playing/flying/whatever...
Charger pack is plugged into wall outlet, w/ wire and mouse-connect an easy/simple utility; plugs in to the slot forward-most of the mouse base. Depending on the battery charge/strength, it's a rather work-man like charge-up. However, I can still use the mouse in-game as it's charging on-the-fly.
For me, it's great equipment and works as well w/ my system and gaming needs.

Thanks for the input Busch. I jumped in and ordered the G700 after watching and reading some reviews. Hope I did good
and time will tell. I wanted such a mouse as I game on my laptop and even tho I can use my X52 it is a big pain while in my easy chair.

Kind of disappointed in the Logitech G700 13 button gaming mouse. It will not take input from the "in game" control screen. I have to program it outside the game by assigning keystrokes to the buttons. This is not a big problem unless I want to change something without leaving the game.
I will keep experimenting tho.

I'm sorry I didn't get to warn you about that, T-bird, as I missed this post. I could've recommended something a good bit more intuitive and functional.
