My rig died tonight when I was helping KylleX

Don't know when I'm able to repair it.

Will most likelly build a new one.

I think it's the power supply or motherboard.

The harddrives are not the problem.
I'll start checking it after my sons
soccer practice today.

 Most of the time (around here), it's the power supply. Anything else and I usually see or hear whacky-do things prior to failure.

Let's hope it's only your power supply, you just have to buy another one, no need to build a new rig.

New Rig achieved;-)

Specs:
OS: Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit
Processor : Intel i7-3770 3.40Ghz 8MB Cache
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 Ti 3GB GDDR5 (DVI/HDMI/D-sub)
Memory: 16GB (DDR3 1600, 4G x 4)
Hard-disk: 1TB HDD 7200 RPM, SATA 6Gbs, 3.5" Optical Unit

Will let you know when all is up and running. Lot's of work to do moving some data from the old rig as well
as setting the new one up properly.

Hey you bought the one I wanted to get! :P
Looks quite impressive mate, you got me jealous! One question though, have you thought about getting an SSD drive as your primary hard drive, and keep the SATA for storage? If you'd use the SSD solely for running Windows and other proggies off, man it would load and run like lightning!

Getting a SSD drive is my plan, but that will be in the future.

Now I'm just pleased that I got my hands on this rig for 1000 euro.
It involved a lot of negotiation with my wife since we have shared economy LOL!
I had to sacrifice my right arm and left leg in the negotiations, but it was worth it;)

Got the rig up and running on one monitor last night and did all the backup needed.
Now it's moving all my stuff from the old rig and getting the 2nd monitor up and running.
I can have up to 4 monitors on this baby but that will not please my wife, so I'll leave it at 2 ... for now.:P
Also installing EM and testing it if time allows it tonight. My son's 7 today so it will be a lot of LEGO building
tonight. He got a huge box with LEGO from us this morning and a smaller box from his little brother..
He did not want to go to school today LOL!

Hmmm . . . .there will be the extra cost of swapping the stick and throttle for a combined stick/throttle kit you can use with one arm

Lucky you don't have rudder pedals as well or you'd just be going round in circles!

:D

Nice silver lining though! :)

Nice one Seejay, I am lucky my wife plays games too so I always smooth her over by giving her my old PC since it's always faster then the one she has.

I usually bring up me buying a new PC when she starts complaining about her PC being slow.

How else you thing I managed to build myself this monster PC I got right now...........;)
