XCOM: Enemy Unknown
They did very well with this reboot. It's so rare to see a reboot live up to the expectations of fans but Firaxis has accomplished exactly that. If you're down for some turn-based science fiction I highly recommend this game.

I didn't know it had come out yet! Thanks for the notification, buddy. I'm a huge fan of both UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep. Looking forward to playing this one!

Yeah I agree, on the cover it says "Our last Hope" or something, which is fitting! Since nothing has come greatly close... I like the new one, but it was easy when compared, and they did miss a heck of a lot out of it. The music's awesome in it and the graphics are cool too. But, I hate having the choice to proceed to the end when I personally didn't want to complete it as fast as I could have done. I got to the very end and I gave up, I got WHOOPED!!!! and gave up...
Great game though, but to be honest, the original is STILL a better game. I've never completed the original, and always had a real tough time trying... I LOVE THAT! New one is hard enough, but I still miss being able to have at least a good few bases and my own UFOs that can carry 18 soldiers at a time... Why just 6???????? HATE THAT!!!!
Anyway, I can talk forever about the original. but not a great deal on the new one as there's not a great deal in it... lol
