Is there a way to scale the monitors from the gauges.txt?

Post by Letoras »

Hello there. I am trying to fit correctly the "what the monitors show" into the model of the cockpit.
Into the gauges.txt file i can see that you can fix rotation, vertical and horizontal position and also the distance.

Is there a way to scale?

Thank you very much.

Not raw scaling per se, but you can adjust the overall size by placement and distance. You don't need to worry about zdepth clipping as the gauges are given rendering priority in terms of depth, so you can place them out as far as you need to to get the size you want.

Yes that is what i am trying to do, the problem so far is that because the monitors (model) and "what the monitor show" have a different zdepth they have an offset when rotating (when you turn the ship) and looks strange.
I thought i might ask for this, thank you very much.
