The final reward

Post by Snowmane »

Do you think the final reward is too high?
I think yes and maybe needs to be rebalanced.

Yeah, of course the final reward makes me very happy, but after getting this, part of my gameplay style is useless.

Greetings!

Note: I'm not complaining about the game, I love this game, i'm only talking about a feature that can be better in my opinion.

Actually the final reward is the hard way of making money, I am 100% sure that most take the short cut and do the quest later after they got all buffed up.

Sir, you are a cynic!

(but that doesn't mean that you are not dead correct I suspect!)

:D

Ya, a mere pittance compared to the wealth to be had from "that sweet trade-route". :P

I voted no! Compared to the 40 billion credits I have at the moment, the final reward is not much!......;):P:cool:

If you strongly believe that the final reward is too high then simply don't use it. You have total freedom to play as you wish.

For example some people think that being able to save anytime (except during a contract) makes the game too easy. It's not really and issue - they have the option of not saving unless they are safely in a station! You can make the game as harsh as you wish for yourself if that increases "realism" and your adrenaline buzz!

 Which reminds me of how hard-core gamers like to play "DID" ... something I do myself in the Silent Hunter series ... even though the option isn't part of the game. It makes the simulation even more realistic. But it's the player's choice.

I must admit, I made most of my fortunes before receiving the final reward. I however loved the final reward, as I can never have enough money. Sitting on over one hundred billion credits :P and yet, I still wants more precious!!

 Dead Is Dead. The first time you die, you either start the game over or you quit and give the DVD to your son.

Is it that stealth generator that you can re-use? Because I have that, and did not do the quest.

I think the end should include the Riftspace info or lead to it on another quest. What think all?

 Tbird, the Riftspace location is revealed somewhere in the middle of the Quest for Peace.
