I agree fully. Great community/game and I also made lots of friends here.

Due to RL stuff (Been very busy) I haven't been very active lately either but I hope that my flight
time will increase soon.

I must say: The greatest parts of this game; are the people who play it. This is a truely great community.
My greatest accomplishments in Evochron; the friends I have made, and the comradery found.

The Freedom Fighters are great because she has the best pilots and the best allies anyone could ask for. We are very fortunate.

King Arthur and his Legion of the Lance are highly valued friends and pilots! LL is an extremely capable clan and quite leathal to boot. Her ranks contain some of the best in the Universe! Like I said most fortunate.
The best decision I have ever made; was appointing Splosives to fleet commander. The Freedom Fighters are extrememly lucky to have found and retained a person of his caliber. The same is true of our outstanding Commissioned Officers. Great Work!!
I hear very good things about Aj Cargo especially; I look forward to a dogfight with you soon Captain!

[FF] Hawkeye, [FF] Guardian, [FF] Gulfman and I did some nice formation flying practice yesterday.

I think it is necessary for all [FF] pilots to practice these skills every now and then. The tactical advantages this offers are huge.
No group of unorganized pilots can ever win from a group flying in formation.

The Vonari Clan have rallied and have conducted a dedicated attack against the Freedom Fighters. This attack was easily repulsed by the skilled pilots of FF, and allowed for FF to launch a staggering counter-attack of their own.

Before logging off the Vonari were unable to stop the loss of 3 of thier quadrants, which were reduced to below 50%.

No damage was done to FF systems percentages, or at least none that could not be quickly and easily repaired after the Von logged off. One station was destroyed by [V], but was quickly replaced.

Favorable action will be taken for FF pilots: Lazarus; Komiho

STANDING ORDERS:

*Reoccupation of these quadrants by FF is acceptable, and colonization has been approved by Command.

*Stay Frosty! The Von have shown they are perfectly capable of surprise attack!

Just to let you fine folks know, I just popped on Starport 6 and found that [V] has taken Pearl from you while you were all offline. The pilot [V] has assured me there's no rule on Starport 6 forbidding attacks on a clan while they are not around to defend their territory. Both [V] and [V] Vonari-R are currently running contracts in Pearl as I post this.

It's not a clan war if you don't fight and if you didn't want 3v2 odds then starting something with one of the largest clans was probably a bad idea but, as we did tonight, we will accommodate you and fight 1 on 1.

It was all I could do was stay on top of them to hamper their progress with contracts, as they'd simply flee when I engaged them.

Well naturally we dont want to end up fulcrum dust so why should we hang around, therefore we run and try to do contracts to compete against the other FF player doing contracts.
I'd say you did very kumiho to throw off our attack.
Vonari is beaten we retreat.
It was an impossible mission against impossible odds so we wont bother to try again.
Back through the Pices wormhole we go.

You should feel happy you have one less clan to fight with.

I deleted my last post since it took a whole day to actually be reviewed and posted, meaning it had no context when it actually went up. I wrote that after the very first attack, so a lot went on afterwards that changed my view of the night.

I have to commend you, [V], you gave me a very thrilling first night flying with [FF].

But be ware, this was not the first time the Vonari came for the Arvoch system. It has happened before, and it might happen again.
It is our duty to defend this most wanted area, and make sure it stays under our control.

The celebration for our last victory will have to be cut short, for our empire has been under attack once again.
This time it was by a gang of pirates by the name of "The grinning skulls". I knew they would come for us eventually.

An update of the Freedom Fighters history

The history of the freedom fighters based on events that happened in game.

Home planet: D140 (deneb)

Foundation: The Freedom Fighters started as a group of soldiers, rebelling against the corrupt D140 colony
government. The group was lead by Hawkeye, a former Deneb Navy combat ace. When the rebels finally
overthrew the government, Hawkeye took command of the entire colony. The Freedom Fighters were very
successful, and gained more and more support. Now that they had lots of new recruits from the Deneb navy,
including Hawkeye's next second in command admiral Splosives, and had access to Deneb navy spaceships,
they continued their rebellion in space.

First Expansion: The Freedom Fighters had a very efficient training programme, and created extremely
skilled combat pilots. First the Freedom Fighters went to the hidden planet in Deneb, and took it over
with relative ease. They found lots of useful resources on this planet to make better equipment in their
ships.
With all their new forces they flew to planet Deneb itself and took it over after a couple of days
battling in space, followed by a planetary assault using the D140 military's planetary walkers.
The desert planet D128 Was taken over shortly afterwards. The whole system of Deneb was in Freedom
Fighters control.

Second Expansion: After the Freedom Fighters took over Deneb, they attracted the attention of the Alpha
Centauri government. They offered an open trade pact. The freedom Fighters could now build their stations
in Alpha Centauri to trade with the locals. AC had a very useful nebula nearby in which the Freedom
Fighters could build their power plant and fuel cell factories. More and more [FF] stations were built in
AC, and they gained more and more support until eventually they became more important than the government
themselves. This way, the freedom fighters eventually took over the government.

Third Expansion: The Freedom Fighters were running out of materials to build more spaceships and
equipment. But they heard about a great system with a very large asteroid belt nearby called Rucker. But
in order to take over this system, they had to go through Aquila, which was very hostile towards the
Freedom Fighters. So they decided to take over Aquila first, using all the resources they still had. The
Aquila Navy fell relatively quickly, but the planet Aquila was heavily defended, and cost the freedom
fighters a lot of resources.
But luckily the people from Rucker weren't as hostile, and allowed the freedom fighters to build mining
bases and ore processors near the asteroids. This way the Freedom Fighters had an almost infinite source
of raw materials. Taking over Rucker was done similar to Alpha Centauri, by just being the most
significant force in the area.

Fourth Expansion: The Freedom Fighters used the raw materials from Rucker, and the fuel and energy from
Alpha Centauri to create a spaceship factory in Aquila. With an almost unlimited supply of Spaceships and
weapons, they decided to expand their territory even more. This way they took over Virgo, Vega, and
eventually Capella.

Alliance: With Virgo being under [FF] control, they had easy access to the upper part of the galaxy, which
was largely controlled by the powerful Legion of the Lance. After a meeting with commander Hawkeye, and
the leader of the legion, King Arthur, They decided the two clans will coexist in peace. Shortly
afterwards this evolved into an alliance and mutual defense pact. This defense pact was lived up to during
the stargate clan invasion on [LL] territory.

War with the vonari: The Freedom Fighters clan decided to help out in the Arvoch area with their Vonari
problems. They built several bases of operations in the warzone area to fight these Vonari aliens.

First clan war: After being more and more present in the central system, Sapphire, some of the [FF]
ambassadors there got attacked by pilots of the "earthbound clan", a clan of earthlings that made some
expansions in the southwestern part of the galaxy. This resulted in a declaration of war against clan
[EB]. The Freedom Fighters wiped out all [EB] presence in their colonies, forcing them to retreat back to
earth.

The battle for thuban: With thuban being the only system between [FF] territory and the rest of the
galaxy, [FF] decided no other clan should gain control of it. This remained true until the Phantom
Corsairs clan decided to take over Thuban. This resulted in a battle between the two clans, which [FF]
eventually won. After this conflict, [FF] and [PC] stayed friendly towards each other.

Taking over pearl: After a slight misunderstanding, the Starwolves clan destroyed all [FF] stations in the
Arvoch warzone. This wasn't taken lightly by the Freedom Fighters. As pay back, the [FF] conquered the
Pearl system from the Starwolves clan.

Change of command: After losing contact with commander Hawkeye, he was declared "lost in space". XO
admiral Splosives took over Hawkeye's position of commanding officer, and appointed Captain Cargo as
executive officer.

Second battle for Thuban: After having lost pearl, the Starwolves clan decided to take over Thuban. As
mentioned early, the Freedom Fighters did not like Thuban being owned by a clan, and fought off the
Starwolves. Untill today, Thuban remains ownerless.

The Klone war: During the war with the vonari, the Freedom Fighters built a base of operations in Al's
Quay and Al's Quay II. Later this base of operations was entirely wiped out by a previously unknown force
that called themselves the "Klone". After this event the Freedom Fighters declared war on the klone. The
Klone immediately responded by attacking Pearl, and destroying a significant amount of [FF] stations.
After rebuilding in pearl, the [FF] clan drove the Klone back from AQ to AQII. After staying defensive for
a while, and building a large reinforced base of operations nicknamed the "death star" in Al's Quay, the
Klone returned for a second attack.
The klone largely demolished the Death star, but they were driven back by the [FF] Forces. After building
a second, even more powerful Death Star, the Klone retreated from AQII.

The second Klone invasion: During a scouting mission, some remains of the Klone were found near the hidden
pearl planet. The Freedom fighters decided to scout for more remains and destroy them all. This action,
however, triggered the Klone to reactivate themselves and invade pearl once again. The Klone attack was
swift and efficient. In a matter of hours, the whole pearl system had been demolished and put under klone
command. Luckily after the first klone war, precautions were taken, and the freedom fighters developed a
quick evacuation system leading to a network of hidden stations nearby pearl. The reign of the klone,
however, did not last long. The freedom fighters had already rallied their troops to take pearl back.
Hours later, the Pearl system was back into [FF] control.
After this attack, a second attempt was done by the Klone and their Vonari allies to take over Pearl along
with some other [FF] systems, but the attacks were repelled quickly.

The return of Hawkeye: After months of sending out scouts and search parties in all known [FF] areas,
finally one of the scouts picked up a distress beacon.
According to the translation of the beacon's message, the ship that sent it belonged to commander [FF]
Hawkeye! Immediately a search party was sent out to scout the area nearby the distress beacon, and
eventually they found the Evoch-E of our lost commander.
When scanned, the ship still showed a human lifeform inside it. The legend was true! [FF] Hawkeye is
indeed indestructible!

The Vonari invasion: After the defeat of the Klone, their allies, the Vonari built a remote empire on top
of the klone ruins north of the [FF] empire. The freedom fighters sent out several spies and scouts to map
the whole vonari empire, ready to retaliate, should an attack on [FF] territory occur. This attack
eventually came to be, once again on the pearl system. The first attack was easily repelled by the tight
defenses of the pearl area. The Vonari managed to find a breach in the defenses of pearl, leading into
their second attack. The vonari managed to take out the [FF] command of pearl in a matter of moments. They
were already wreaking havoc in Pices before the Freedom Fighters could respond with Defensive action.
Even with the pearl defenses breached, the power of the [FF] military was too strong for the vonari, and
they were driven out once again. After this second attack, the Freedom Fighters retaliated on the Vonari
empire, demolishing it in one swift stroke. The Vonari were forced to retreat back to Vonarion.
