Help, Want to install vipers hud

Hello, This game is awesome. I have had to restart twice but its still a lot of fun.
I would like to install Vipers Hud but I am really unsure as how to do it. I downloaded the file and placed it in the games folder but nothing happened.

Assuming you're talking about Mercenary, try placing the files into a folder called hud. Then drag that folder into the main game folder. Make sure the files are unzipped and not in any other folder. Just put the individual files in the hud folder ... and the hud folder in the game folder.

Do you mean dragging the hud folder into the "application file" of the game? I already put the hud folder into the Evochron mercinary folder and nothing changed in the game.

Can you show your directory branching, from HD downward to the files themselves?

make sure your hud folder is not double packed. example; hud folder inside another hud folder

As an example my hud is located as shown below;

Computer,Local Disk (C), sw3dg, EvochronMercenary,HUD
My mercenary.exe file is in the EvochronMercenary folder so if you see that then put the HUD folder there also.
Inside the HUD folder are the mods like aiming etc. There are also folders you can make named SOUNDS if you want special sounds and one you name SHIPS for modded designs and one named ENVIRONMENT that you place things like modded background nebula in.
