Delta Vee here. Been playing the game for a while now and it's been a pretty amazing experience so far. I wish I had known about this game sooner.

Anyway, I am still learning afew things despite how long I've been in the game, and I am always willing to help others. I may not be the best in combat, but I am one hell of a gunner.

Luckily, MP allows you to jump into another pilot's turret and do just that ... be his gunner.

That I learned earlier. Just not sure who would want one. Guess in a 'RP' Clan I'm a 'Merc with a heart'. Sure I'm not as mean or rugged......or smelly....as your basic Merc. But hey, even I have standards!

If the Klone are as serious as they say then we should be seeing some heavy action in the future. If it's ok to call on you, you can gunner up with me! Don't worry all you need to do is have good aim... I'll take care of the rugged and smelly part!!:;)

Never tried that before, must be ineteresting, the ship of the gunner follows the other ship or stays in place???

The turret gunner can eject from the turret at any time ... and, when he does, his ship is usually nearby. In any case, he ends up back in his ship (automatically). Ejecting can be done either by selecting the option (listed on the HUD) or initiating a Save. The gunner also gets ejected if the ship leaves the sector (hyperjumping is okay only if it's done within the sector).

Welcome to the game Delta Vee

There have been some competitions using gunners on MP. You could try doing combat contracts with or as a gunner - you should both get paid and earn the experience points. Or just invite a few people to have some pVp with gunners when you get onto a server.

Beware of the Vonari offer to join - you'll probably end up canned as food for their pups. You've got to give it to them though - their advertising budget must match MacGorf's - oops, sorry - not very diplomatic since the Gorf's best selling product is the Vonariburger with BBQ Sauce!
