Trip to Sol - Highlights *****CONTAINS SPOILER*****

Post by Archon »

Hi everyone, today, I have completed my journey to the human race's home system Sol.

As I know there are 2 ways of going to Sol:

The first one is to go to Sirius and jump manually all the way to Sol

Or you could go to Orion and jump to

SX: -1598
SY: 0
SZ: -2048

and go to RiftSpace then go to Sol from one of the wormholes which I did.

Here are some of the highlights in the way to Sol and in Sol:

The wormhole to the human race's home system

Mercury, seen from an approaching Mammoth

Image

Mercury's rocky, barren and inhabitable surface

Image

Venus, the world of carbon dioxide, which is very yellow in Evochron Mercenary

Image

Through the yellow acid and carbon dioxide cloud, lies a world of barren land

Image

Moving on to Earth, the beautiful, pristine world that where we all come from (I can't land on it so no surface pictures)

Image

The Earth's natural satellite, the Mammoth is attempting Apollo 11.

Image

Houston, the MAMMOTH has nearly landed

Image

Mars, our red colored neighbor, here is shown in it's finest glory

Image

When you come down the atmosphere, a world of sand and dust awaits. The red planet's surface

Approaching the Martian Colony

Image

Jupiter, a gas giant of storms, lies ahead, showed here in it's beauty

Image

Inside Jupiter, howling winds makes the ship incredibly difficult to control, the gas giant, at the time of entry is having a wind party.

Image

Saturn and it's ring, another gas giant....

Image

Saturn is the same, raging storm makes the Mammoth incredibly hard to control

Image

Wierd Uranus

Image

Neptune, Uranus' sister planet, a good-looking planet filled with gases.

Image

Neptune's interior, a nice view

That was the planets that I visited during my visit to Sol
I will be staying in Sol before going to my next destination, Andromeda......:)

Very cool! I always wondered what the bigger gas giants looked like in the game, so thanks for the tour of Sol.
