slight problem, game gets to 100% loading and then crashes witha problem... so took the music file out, seems to be a problem in there somewhere... not quite sure what though?
all oggs are all good... does it matter about what's in the text doc?

I had that problem when i was putting more that 3 songs per situation...

Ah well I fixed it thanks to Vice... And a shed load of deleting... Came up with this!!!

Fit for a KING no less!!! and it's worked 2/2 times so far!!!

There we are, all you have to do is RENAME the "music 2" file, to "music"
and obvioulsy take the other one out of the EM folder...and replace with this one

That list shouldn't work if I recall the setup correct.

You need to group them in 3.

Where are the tracks
2-6, 2-7, 2-8, 2-9
and
3-6, 3-7, 3-8, 3-9

Weird if that works. The sets is not by 3 in that list??

I might be wrong and stand corrected if I am.

seems to be ok, doesn't say anything in the readme file about 3s... I will keep testing it! it's awesome having these songs in this game!!!

No, that should work. It doesn't matter how many songs you have for each 'situation'. That's at least so as far as I can tell. Ihave, for example 3 everything's-quiet-soundtracks and 9 now-comes-trouble-soundtracks.
I also had a lot of other setups and different numbers of tracks and it always worked for me

frustrating! I may give up but now I've tasted the epicness I can't go back to the standard EM songs... although they're great, don't get me wrong... but you know what I mean?

anybody else want to test it for me? it's getting to me why it works some times then doesn't bother most times...

Could it be that your pc memory is not high enough to handle the songs? I know these loading-till-100%-crashes in connection with having not enough memory.
I'll test it on my machine and see what happens

yeah it's definitely a memory thing from my side, I don't think there's a problem with the songs...
I haven't got a great amount of RAM, plenty hard drive room but that doesn't help at all, if only it could...

I'm sorry to be the one bringng you bad news but I tried it 10 times now and in 4 cases the game crashed at 100%. Even when I did some additional tests (where I kicked out all my other mods in advance to keep memory usage low) it crashed just as before...

I'm not quite sure about the memory causing all the trouble. Because as I said, I tried it without any additional mods. So the only mod installed was yours, with a size of about 37.2MB and it still crashes. EM, as I play it on the other hand, has about 52.8MB of mods to load (+23MB of my music; 9 tracks) and it never crashed once.

But on the other hand again I also had several such crashes when I had a lots of music tracks loaded. Maybe it's just the amount of songs you use? Try to kick out some of those and see if it works, then.

oh ok, not sure what's going on now then hehe...

I deleted a load more and have 6-1s 4-2s and 4-3s which worked 1/1 times and I just played for a bit flying around like a mad man... maybe they're not converting properly, even though it says they are?

i used Switch Sound file converter! which is pretty good...

converted the .mp3 into .ogg and according to the readme file that's all I need, so it could be a mystery scooby!

I checked out the music pack and the problem appears to just be missing songs in certain groups. There are additional low threat level songs that don't have matching mid and high threat level songs in their respective group sets. Just remove or delete songs musiclevel1-6.ogg through musiclevel 1-9.ogg and it should work fine.

y'know what's really strange, is that I deleted the songs on the end of the level 1s to make all levels equal... and it stopped working!? so I restored the other two songs that I deleted and it work!?

this is really random! lol

It will often pick a random song to start with, so if one in a sequence is missing, it could not work one time and work the next because the game hasn't called for that missing song.

Ah, yep I had that whilst online last night lol, in the middle of a mission some hostiles attacked and the song changed and boom... that wasn't sound sound of me whooping them, that was my damn laptop crashing!!! LOL!! well not a great time to crash laptop!

so from now when I play online I'll remove my music file even though it's goddamn awesome!!!!

Oh joy, I can see it now,a big space pvp battle with the additional custom tracks playing in the background, while sapphire is so crowded with pilots during the fight that the server crashes just like last years last man standing competition lol. The music fits that scenario so well lol!:):D:P
