a few questions from a newbie

Hi everyone !
I discovered em few days ago, it seems pure fun :-)

I have a few questions :

Can we join thé renegades ?

Where can i find them ?

Does mercenary guild gives you combat missions ?

Can i in this game act as an independent fighter, selling mu skills and guns to escort ships, clearing areas, seccuring trade routes ? ( to say it in other words : can i get combat missions without joining thé navy )

What is * jettison cargo bay * ? ( sorry didn't fond it in thé 'book')

1. Don't think so.

2. They're not easy to find, that's for sure.

5. Dumps the contents of your cargo bay instantly, same as if you manually dump each slot.

Pardon moi, mais Je ne parle pas de francais!

If you do lose your cargo by mistake you can see them outside your ship floating there on the HUD - use your tractor beam (=mining beam) to pick then up again

In fact i discovered this last time but was on a planet then my cargo bay goes little to deep but can see them on "radar"

i lost more than one time because i mismatch "news" and "jettison" button... but maybe was in an asteroid field so dont see very well my own stuff around... and wrongly think it was lost forever..

there is some platinum box floating around guys... take care not bumping in at high velocity

You are not the first to wonder about the widsom of putting the "lose all your hard won mining/trading assets" button next to the "what's the latest gossip?" button!

I think I'll add it to the "What you'd love to see . . . " thread :P
