Lol ya that ship definitely has similarities to Serenity. The space jockey looks boss in the trailer! Finally gonna see what their all about.

Cool! I gather from the trailer that it's more about the Aliens that are found dead in the derelict ship by Ripley and crew and the ALIENS that killed them are probably a 'secondary' story element! Quite an unexpected twist!

Just got back from watching the movie, very good stuff, certainly reminded me of the original alien with the terror elements and atmosphere. Great movie!:)

I just watched it yesterday. Very nice SF flick. But I didn't understand the harsh critics from some Alien fanboys in France. Too high expectations maybe ?

Yea, it was an good movie and the end of it was awesome! Can't wait for the sequel

The disgruntled fanboys were probably expecting the movie to have more to do with Xenomorphs... even though Ridley Scott has said numerous times that this new trilogy? will be it's own entity, only loosely connected to the original quadrilogy.

Haven't watched the movie, but what I want to know is why are movies like this always about aliens who want to invade earth and eat or change us into more of them?

That thing has it's place, but it's like we are being programmed to be xenophobic. If an alien ship really did land, everyone would automatically think, "Oh noes. They want to eat our brains!!!" When it's possible all they really want is a cultural dialog and exchange. That kind of misunderatanding is how wars get started.

I saw it in 3d. It is a must to see it in 3d if you see it at all.

The visuals were great.

The story...well...I was enjoying it at first, but there were some major problems with the plot after things started getting interesting. It would take too long to elaborate here, but I'm sure Mr. Plinkett would have some choice words uttered in his usual middle-aged-serial-killer voice.

Great special effects but weak plot typical alien monster flick.

The Ship was cool but the story line failed to peak my intellectual interest. I was ticked that I wasted my money.
Would not be bad as a $1.00 redbox video but not as a feature film.

it was fun though love to play Evochron Mercenary in 3d;)
